It isn’t often that the author, scriptwriter, producer, director, actors etc. etc. all pool to make perfect chemistry in a movie. Now the storyline is tough and uncompromising. Several of the scenes that empower the heroine to her own form of retribution are so stomach-churningly abusive to her that it’s almost impossible to watch. But in the long run it’s a masterpiece that you simply can’t forget. The love affair between the two main characters Blomkvist andSalander is as tender as it is impossible (until movie 2), which holds the plot of Stieg Larsson’s Girl with the Dragon Tattoo together so magnificently.
